It had stripped some teeth off of the shift modulator and also had some water in it. He replaced the damaged parts but can't get it to shift electrically. It will shift with the manual gear changer so everything is fine mechanically. If you ask me, DCT is a waste of money. I think they sell 8 times as many DCT as foot shift because they make 8 times as many, not because of demand. I like to ride one handed, I find I don't get tired as fast. Remove all the factory stiff, gummy grease that was put in the shift gears. Now, replace all that grease with a liberal amount of ALL-temperature, White Lithium Grease.
